Donovan Mitchell gave it all he had during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 120-119 Game 2 loss against the Indiana Pacers last Tuesday.
With Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and De’Andre Hunter out, the six-time NBA All-Star put Cleveland on his back by dropping 48 points, five rebounds, nine assists, and four steals on 15-for-30 shooting from the field and 17-for-21 from the free throw line. Despite this, they came up short.
After the heartbreaking defeat, Mitchell challenged the team ahead of Games 3 and 4 at Indiana.

Or we can move on and take some things that we did really well and go from there… It sucks, it stings, but we gotta go out there and take care of business. Otherwise, that’s it,” Mitchell said in the postgame press conference.
