Jokic is a great leader, you know what I mean, Gordon said. He’s there at the right time. Every day is on time, if not early. He practices in the morning and gets in the reps.
He goes to the game, does what he does in the game, and then lifts weights after the game. He works religiously every day. Heand is humble, he distributes the ball.
So when you have a two-time MVP and a one-time Finals MVP who are so dedicated, what more can you ask for? Everyone else must also be devoted. If he can do that, some must be devoted. Nikola Jokic is not the best player in the world by accident.
The fact that fans see him being sarcastic all the time in front of the camera shouldn’t diminish what he does on the field. The success of the Denver Nuggets did not happen by accident.
At some point, the critics have to realize that and respect what Jokic and the Nuggets have done for years.
