The forward of the Denver Nuggets, Michael Porter Jr. Progressing smoothly.

In a recent report from Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports, it was revealed that Michael Porter Jr. While practicing, he suffered a sprained ankle and was left with hardly any shoes on after leaving the gym in ice. While the injury was not a significant concern, there is still some degree of concern when he or she sustains an injury, regardless of whether it’s affecting another key player in particular.

In his statement on Sunday, Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone provided an update on Porter’s injury, stating that the swelling has decreased and he is feeling much better. He was getting treatment all day yesterday, so definitely moving in the right direction. We’ll be smart with that moving forward.”

Malone finished his answer by joking that Porter took his shirt off and walked around like he loves to do. Laughing and joking with the reporter, Malone said if he were Porter, he would do the same thing.

Even though the Nuggets forward didn’t do anything in practice, it’s great to know that the swelling has gone down. As the initial report indicated, there’s no reason to worry that Porter will miss significant time with this injury, but it’s something the Nuggets would be smart to do.

With the season quickly approaching, the Nuggets will make sure Porter reaches 100 before he returns to the court.
