Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone is not worried about the Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have responded to some  trash talk from the Denver Nuggets this season. When asked about it during a recent appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone downplayed it all and said the following:

“I don’t understand and I don’t really care. One thing I learned from my parents many years ago is that you have to be honest with yourself. .. I will be me, I will be me. to support my boys, protect my boys, and accompany my boys through ups and downs,  wins and  losses. The only people  that matter to me are the 17 players in the locker room, my family and all of our fans  in Denver.”

No longer worried about the Lakers or how they feel, Malone will always defend his players when necessary, but not worry about anything else. Always  true to himself and his players, Malone recognizes that this can sometimes be a bit reluctant, but he will always support his team.

There has been a lot of back and forth between Denver and Los Angeles since the Lakers announced at media day that they had heard some  offseason noise, but that will likely subside at some point. A few weeks.
