In some ways, Denver’s Jalen Pickett and San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama are quite similar. Both are NBA rookies adjusting to pro life. But  the similarities end there.

Pickett was a second-round pick and  played just 71 minutes in 10 games for the Nuggets, while Wembanyama is a global superstar who entered the league with as much hype as anyone since LeBron James.

And then there are the physical differences. Pikedo is listed at 6and#039;4andquot;, while Wembanyama is fully taller. So when Pickett met Wembanya on Sunday, he couldn’t help but be fascinated.

Pickett had a microphone during the game, prompting his hilarious reaction to shaking hands with the French phenom before the game.   “We shook hands.
I’m not going to lie, his hand went up, like here,” Pickett told Collin Gillespie before the game, pointing to his wrist. “Look at his arm, bro,” Pickett told another teammate during the game.

“Brother, his hand came  here [on me].”   It’s refreshing to know that Wembanyama’s NBA counterparts are just as surprised as the rest of us.
