Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray had this to say about Nikola Jokic.
While fans got a glimpse of Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic, there’s much more to the reigning MVP of the night Finals that fans don’t see.
Speaking exclusively to Inside the Warriors to reveal his new partnership with Starry and KFC, Nuggets star Jamal Murray was also asked if he could reveal anything that fans didn’t already know about Jokic or not and said the following:
“That’s a winner,” Murray said. “He’s unselfish, and there aren’t many teams that have a superstar like that who can go get his own bucket but wants to pass the ball so bad to make everyone better and make everyone happy. That’s it.” has great significance. It’s contagious, because Good. I think that’s probably the most important thing… When you see him in person, he makes everyone better and he’s a great leader even though he’s quiet and doesn’t talk much. He’s a great leader and he gets us where we need to go.”
That last part of Murray is something fans really don’t get to see. Even though Jokic isn’t a Loud guy but he’s definitely a leader for the Denver Nuggets, and Murray was able to talk about that. Although Jokic’s leadership style may seem different from other NBA stars, it clearly has effective for a Nuggets team that often gets in his own way.
