Four of those victories came at ‘signature’ events. Scheffler also won his second Masters title in April and claimed Olympic gold in Paris.
He started the final round at East Lake with a five-shot lead over Collin Morikawa and after 18 holes won by four from the American.
Scheffler also hit one of the worst shots of his career, a dreaded shank, but recovered to card a 4-under 67.
As ever, there was a huge amount of prize money up for grabs.
This year, the FedEx Cup bonus pool was increased to a mega $100m.
That meant Scheffler scooped the $25m bonus for becoming the 2024 FedEx Cup champion.
It means his yearly earnings have surpassed $50m.
