Bryson DeChambeau Breaks Silence Amid LIV Golf’s $630 Million Lawsuit Claim

Bryson DeChambeau has addressed the growing attention surrounding LIV Golf after the league was named in a $630 million lawsuit alleging the improper use of confidential business information during its launch.

The lawsuit claims LIV Golf, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), and other parties used proprietary concepts developed by World Golf Group and the Premier Golf League (PGL) to establish the rival circuit. The allegations remain unproven, and the case is expected to move through the courts.

Speaking after the claims became public, DeChambeau said he remains focused on golf and expressed confidence that the legal process will run its course.

“I’m here to compete and play golf,” DeChambeau said. “The legal matters are being handled by the people responsible for them, and I have confidence they’ll take care of everything appropriately.”

The two-time major champion added that the lawsuit has not changed his commitment to LIV Golf.

“My focus hasn’t changed. I believe in what we’re building, and I’m excited about the future of the league,” he said.

DeChambeau also praised LIV Golf for providing players with new opportunities and insisted that the competition on the course remains his top priority.

The lawsuit seeks $630 million in damages, with the plaintiffs alleging that confidential business plans, tournament formats, player contracts, and financial models developed for the Premier Golf League were later used to help launch LIV Golf.

LIV Golf and the Public Investment Fund have not publicly admitted any wrongdoing, and the allegations have not been proven in court.

Despite the legal challenge, DeChambeau expressed confidence that the league will continue moving forward.

“There will always be challenges when you’re trying to do something different,” he said. “I’m looking forward to competing and letting the legal process take its course.”

As the case develops, LIV Golf continues its schedule while defending itself against one of the biggest legal claims in the league’s history.
