Wyndham Clark has added another huge payday to his already lucrative 2026 season after claiming victory at the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
Clark battled through a dramatic final round to finish at 17-under par, securing the title and walking away with a staggering $3.6 million in official prize money. The BMW Championship featured a $20 million purse, with the winner receiving 18% of the total prize fund.
The victory marks Clark’s third PGA Tour win of the 2026 season and further strengthens his position heading into the season-ending Tour Championship. Along with the massive financial reward, Clark also collected 750 FedExCup points from his BMW Championship triumph.
Clark Takes Home $3.6 Million
The $3.6 million payout represents the largest single prize available at the BMW Championship.
Patrick Cantlay, who finished runner-up, earned $2.16 million, while Rory McIlroy collected $1.36 million for third place. Several other players also walked away with seven-figure or near-seven-figure payouts from the $20 million purse.
For Clark, however, the significance goes beyond simply winning another tournament. His BMW Championship victory comes during a season in which he has established himself as one of the most successful players on the PGA Tour.

The BMW Championship is the second event of the FedExCup Playoffs, with only the top 30 players advancing to the Tour Championship at East Lake. Clark’s victory gives him important momentum heading into the final event of the season.
There is also a separate $100 million FedExCup bonus pool connected to the playoffs, meaning Clark still has an opportunity to increase his overall earnings significantly.
