Tom Kim pocketed $1.575 million after producing a flawless final-round 64 to win the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club.
The 24-year-old South Korean claimed his fourth PGA Tour title by finishing 17-under par, two shots clear of Australia’s Min Woo Lee, who earned $985,500 for finishing runner-up.
The victory marks Kim’s first ever on the DP World Tour and his first win around the world since October 2023.
The Genesis Scottish Open, once again co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, featured a $9 million prize purse, with Kim delivering a flawless Sunday performance to secure one of the biggest victories of his career.
A four-way tie for third saw England’s Matt Fitzpatrick, Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre, Japan’s Keita Nakajima and American Johnny Keefer all finish on 13-under par, with each player collecting $431,888.
Rory McIlroy also closed with a sparkling 64 to climb into a tie for seventh at 12-under par, earning $270,675.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, meanwhile, endured a rare disappointment after missing the cut – his first missed weekend on the PGA Tour since August 2022.
All of the world’s best will now head to the season’s final major of the season, The Open at Royal Birkdale.
