Phil Mickelson’s Wife Uncovers Truth Behind Husband’s Golf Club Exit

Amy Mickelson reportedly played a central role in uncovering the circumstances surrounding Phil Mickelson’s departure from one of California’s most exclusive golf clubs.

According to recent reports, the six-time major champion’s exit from the Madison Club in 2021 came after Amy learned of alleged affairs involving her husband during his time at the private club.

A senior member of the club’s management team claimed that Amy’s discovery ultimately led to Mickelson ending his membership.

“He wasn’t necessarily kicked out,” the source reportedly said. “It was more of a demand by Amy. We got a call from their wealth management firm: We need Phil’s place sold, gone, right now. Phil will no longer be a member at the Madison Club.”

The report alleges that Mickelson had engaged in several extramarital relationships while a member of the club. Sources also claimed that efforts were allegedly made to conceal certain activities from Amy.

One club member alleged that Mickelson would leave his phone with employees or fellow members so his location would appear to show him on the golf course.

“Amy was tracking his phone,” the source claimed. “That gave Phil the time to sneak away.”

Another member said that many individuals at the club were aware of the alleged behavior before Amy eventually learned about it.

“Everyone at the club knew what was going on and eventually Amy found out, too,” the source said.

The allegations have resurfaced as Mickelson faces renewed scrutiny following additional claims involving alleged inappropriate conduct. Recent reports have linked the LIV Golf star to allegations made by Ashley Perez, the former wife of golfer Pat Perez, as well as claims involving a female employee at The Farms Golf Club.

Mickelson’s legal representatives have disputed many of the allegations, with attorney Tom Clare stating that some claims are false while others revisit matters that have already been addressed.

Despite the reports, Amy has continued to publicly support her husband during a difficult period for the family.

The attorney representing Mickelson recently praised Amy’s support, saying she has shown “extraordinary grace, unwavering love and the belief that people are measured not only by their failures, but by what they do to make them right.”

Phil Mickelson has largely stepped away from competitive golf this season, citing a private family health matter as the reason for his absence. He recently withdrew from The Open Championship, further adding to speculation surrounding his future.

The couple, who married in 1996, have faced increasing public attention in recent months as reports concerning Mickelson’s personal life continue to emerge.

At this time, the allegations remain disputed, and no criminal charges have been filed against the six-time major champion.

As more details continue to surface, Amy Mickelson’s reported discovery of the circumstances surrounding her husband’s club exit has become another significant chapter in the ongoing scrutiny surrounding one of golf’s most recognizable figures.
