Phil Mickelson’s Wife Punishes Him After Several Misconduct Claims

Phil Mickelson’s wife, Amy Mickelson, reportedly took decisive action against the six-time major champion after becoming aware of multiple allegations of infidelity and misconduct that have surfaced in recent years.

According to a recent report, Amy played a major role in Phil Mickelson’s departure from the exclusive Madison Club in California after allegations of affairs emerged during his membership there.

A senior member of the club’s management team claimed that Mickelson’s exit was largely driven by Amy’s demands after she allegedly discovered his behavior.

“He wasn’t necessarily kicked out,” the source said. “It was more of a demand by Amy. We got a call from their wealth management firm: We need Phil’s place sold, gone, right now. Phil will no longer be a member at the Madison Club.”

The report alleges that Mickelson engaged in multiple affairs while he was a member at the club. Following his departure, he reportedly began spending more time at The Bridges, another private golf club near the family’s home in Rancho Santa Fe.

Sources quoted in the report alleged that Mickelson attempted to conceal some of his activities from his wife. One member claimed that Mickelson would allegedly leave his phone with employees or members so that his location would appear to show him on the golf course.

“Amy was tracking his phone,” one source alleged. “That gave Phil the time to sneak away.”

Another club member claimed that many people at the club eventually became aware of the alleged behavior.

“Everyone at the club knew what was going on and eventually Amy found out, too,” the source said.

The latest allegations come amid renewed scrutiny surrounding Mickelson after claims made by Ashley Perez, the former wife of golfer Pat Perez, regarding an alleged incident that reportedly occurred during a PGA Tour event in 2015.

Additional reports have also alleged that Mickelson was asked to leave The Farms Golf Club following claims of inappropriate contact with a female employee. His representatives have disputed those allegations, describing the matter as a misunderstanding.

Mickelson’s attorney, Tom Clare, has strongly defended the golfer, stating that some allegations are false while others revisit matters that have already been addressed.

“Stacking the disputed claims next to the ones he has owned does not make them credible,” Clare said.

Despite the controversy, Amy has remained by her husband’s side publicly. However, the reported actions surrounding the Madison Club suggest that she took significant steps after learning about the alleged affairs.

The couple, who married in 1996, have faced several personal challenges in recent years, including the private family health matter that Phil cited when explaining his absence from professional golf this season.

Mickelson recently withdrew from The Open Championship and has remained largely out of the public spotlight.

At this time, the allegations remain disputed, and no criminal charges have been filed against the six-time major champion.

As more reports continue to emerge, Amy Mickelson’s reported role in forcing changes within their personal life has become another major talking point surrounding one of golf’s most recognizable figures.
